Ponta Negra - one of Voni's favorite spots
How I love to walk on the beach when no one is around. To think.To hear the full symphony beat of the waves coming onto the shore. Or lie in a hammock, with a pen and paper in my hands.
As a child I’d wander in the fields on our farm, or climb up a tree and hide… and “not hear” when my mother called me to go do my chores.
Did I get many of these opportunities? No. Nor do I now. However, I’ve learned to talk with God, whatever I’m doing. He’s a VERY good listener.
