I Am a Kept Woman
When I wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had wronged me, the LORD kept watch over the doors of my lips. (Psalm 141:3- Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips)
When tempted to lose control, the LORD kept me in perfect peace.
(Isaiah 26:3- You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you)
When I felt lonely, the LORD kept watching over me.
(Gen 28:15- I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, .....I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you)
When facing financial setbacks, the LORD kept meeting all of my needs.
(Matt. 6:25 -34- Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear..... If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?....But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you)
When I was fearful, HE kept me calm.
(I Peter 5:7- Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. + Matt. 11:28-30- Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest...For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.")
When I was weak, HE kept me strong!
(Isaiah 40:29 He gives strength to those who grow tired and increases the strength of those who are weak.)
I could go on and on, but by now, you can plainly see, I Am Blessed to be 'Kept'
