The Anchor Holds
I have sailed through the long dark night out on the open sea, sailing by faith alone and yet his eyes were watching me.

And the anchor holds though the ship is battered the anchor holds though the sails are torn I have fallen on my knees as I face the raging seas yet the anchor holds in spite of the storm.

I once had visions and I even had dreams I've even held them all in my hands; but one thing I never knew was that they could slip right through my hands like they were only grains of sand.

I once was young, but I am older now and there has been beauty that these eyes have seen but it was in the night through the storms of my life where God proved his love for me

And the anchor holds though the ship is battered the anchor holds though the sails are torn I have fallen on my knees as I faced the raging seas yet the anchor holds in spite of the storm.
The lyrics of this song reminds us that even in the midst of the storms of life, there is one who holds us steady, who is unmoved, unaffected by the raging seas, always watching over us and with His help we can make it through no matter what comes our way, no matter how severe the storm may be our anchor will hold.

Hebrews 6:19
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
